I posted that same video a few days ago. It's really cool.

The difference between John McFee and Pat Simmons is pretty interesting. McFee prefers a Line 6 Helix processor...coupled with the Line 6 Variax guitar. Simmons prefers a Mesa Mark V and an iso-cab fed by a variety of different guitars.

It's also interesting to me to see Pat Simmons' preference for the Washburn Wonderbar tremolo. I've got one of those in my pile of stuff. I used to have it installed on my '74 SG back in the '80s and '90s. What Pat doesn't say is that the Washburn Wonderbar uses no springs. It uses a torsion bar, instead.
