After 50 years of playing together, it sounds like perhaps Joey pissed someone off.

At one of the shops I worked at, my boss sublet a space to a friend of his who did incredible valve train work. He ported and polished some very high horsepower Porsche stuff, and other stuff too. Two of his biggest customers were Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer. He said Brad knows his poop very well, and is totally down to earth. Joey wanted to know as much as Brad, but often didn't buy the "right" cars, and would end up spending too much money in the long run. Of the entire band, he said both Brad and Joey were the only real people, and had great senses of humor. Especially Joey.

I can't say because I never met any of them. But, did you see Steven Tyler on Top Gear driving the "Modestly Priced Sedan" on the test track? He got the second slowest time ever!

In Case you hadn't seen it.

he looks petrified-----
and IM SORRY ) I have to say this
WHY?????? do 95 lb musicians wear tank tops??????? Good lord man either get to the GYM or put on a friggin SHIRT w/ SLEEVES!

and by the way Steven........can I have your daughters phone # ???????? ;)

You're going to need those arthritis pills tonight. Looks like the swamp might get a little cool.

Y'know, although I do consider myself an Aerosmith fan, for me the band began with 'Aerosmith' in 1973 and ended with 'Draw The Line' in 1977. Maybe a song or two off of 'Night In The Ruts' but for all intents and purposes they have sucked since 1979 and I really don't care whether Joey Kramer is in the band if they are going to be playing "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" or "Love In An Elevator" or any of their other pop-rock nonsense.
It really was! Got to see JPP twice and they really kicked a$$

For me, it was the first 5 albums. 'Rocks' and 'Draw The Line' are essential listening for me, especially Rocks - that's a desert-island record for me. After that it all went to poo.

This says it almost perfectly for me too, except I never really got into Draw the Line like the rest. I left that record on my turntable and sunlight through the window warped it dramatically. Looked like this but flat / not curled into a bowl.
Wow and Flutter.

I will have to give it another go.

If I had to pick one, it would be Rocks as well.

Do it. 'Draw The Line' has some of the raunchiest songs they ever recorded.

We are supposed to be in the 30s for the rest of January. That is definitely above average for Minneapolis.
