All your life you go through guitars..looking..have 4 others like this...but this is the most seeking ever did..went to my collector friend & played LP Customs...1 theme..the weight is where its at & a balance on a custom is something to experience. Found this gem..but took 1 heck of a chance on it cause pics where horrible..cloudy & will post what it came like...turned out to be a plus..it was clear tape where you rest arm to protect the body & its where the pickguard is..took hour to remove but this thing is beautiful..more importantly ..the sound !! Ace... i remember staring at LP's as a kid & Mom put me in the school band..clarinet ! wut? lol..we still joke cause of how much music i have made & how many times parents seen us play.....cause what if ? i had got ta LP in 1973?

All metal parts have Japan stamp

what more could you possibly need-- it covers all bases and those things are made at a level of quality -- frankly taht doesnt exist today unless you spend HUGE $
 
Pleasant surprise from the wife just now. We went & looked at all the guitars(insurance actually) we stopped at the 78 The Paul, Nighthawk & 14 SGJ and reminised about all the songs( she picks them out as outstanding from being in studio & bonding with vocally)..got talking about The Paul..she said why dont you get that whole year of them cause they are unique & you like T tops. Find all non touched - stck ones. to collect.kinda said i was done...out of hangers & stands,,play em too much to put in cases ...but that is prob a good idea....SG first...hopefully they made The Firebird ..The 335's & The Explorer ...only ever saw LP & SG from that year in the wild...sounds like a way to keep the hunt going...do have amp in transit tho & my buddy wants to sell me his dual rec & wants my DSL...never..lol

working on that...it is the p rail in bridge , supposed to be a Humbucker-P90 & single or something. or P90 & single..never used one of them before
..got it set up & playable..time to figure that out now..you are supposed to be able to use your pick to change the pickup. setting from what what i quick glanced out..
