This is the first time in my life, that I can remember, that I did not stay up for the countdown into the new year. Though there were plenty of fireworks going off to briefly remind me when the final countdown happened...

That's a bummer.
My kids came down with the flu Christmas eve, so we were exiled from from Christmas dinner with the rest of the fam... so as not to spread the crud. Feel better soon.
