Twilight Zone

Lots of good old shows. Sometime during the 80’s a local channel aired the entire Combat series, from beginning to end, one show a day. I had my first VCR then and recorded them. Watched everyone. Just google it and there were 152 one hour episodes. Now I did not remember this when watching them in the 60s, but after watching about 125 of them, in black and white, I turned on the first episode of the final season and WHOA, it was in color.

Cannon, William Conrad used to run down the bad guys. Even as a kid I knew there was no way that old fat guy was ever gonna run down a bad guy. Also he always squealed his tires even on dirt roads.

Love lots of those.
The Rifleman too.

Strange coincidence: @JohnnyGoo: I was trimming my winter full beard this past weekend (kept pretty closely trimmed) and was reminded of Jonny Quest's dad, Dr. Benton Quest. Except mine is mostly grey.
I had not had a memory of that show recently, but Bandit type dogs do trigger it sometimes.

And that same upbeat trumpet / horn mood music that would play whenever the sh*t was hitting the fan.
