Don't slow down too much. Body and mind need to remain active as we age. You just got to be careful and not take dangerous shortcuts when it comes to lifting and other physical motions. I also understand that this is easier said than done...I'll be 60 in February...I guess it's time to slow down and realize I'm not 20 anymore!

will now tend to think they have to carry you, but with out your wisdom they are still learning, and would be a bit lost.
Cheers
Would your employer be up Poop River if you decided to NOT work for any reason?Believe it or not I do this job solo! Maybe that's why I'm so damn worn out...I maintain 20 remote mountain sites and over 1500 subscriber units. Also 3 airports and the seaport...

I think I saw you on TV, Chris.I believe they would for a short while. No one even knows how to get to most of my remote sites. They are all up in the mountains and some are not at all easy to find!

@Sp8ctre Sorry to hear what you are going through.
I've had 4 shoulder surgerys 2 on each side. I've had the clavicles cleaned out each time as well as tears fixed. The loss of sleep is horrible, due to the pain.
Doc said it was from repetitive motion. I was a night stocker, stocking shelves in the grocery stores for roughly 19 years.
I found this guy on the net, Dr. Beau Hightower. If I was in a different spot in life, I would find him or someone with the same knowledge and background.

This guy does wonders for people, yet if you have things torn, that requires surgery you must have.
You also might find relief from this guy, Trevor Bachmeyer and his site SmashweRx. Alot of great exercises to get mobility back.

Its so very important to stretch, I believe thats what led me down this path. A lack of it.
Your in my heart and prayers brother! :dood:
I know whatever you choose, will be right for you.
Heres to a fast recovery and full mobility back in your shoulders!
John
Thanks for this! Anything I can learn or try to do to help myself out is great. I do stretching exercise everyday and it really helps my entire body.
The problem with me is I've always tried to do more than maybe I should. I never wanted anyone to think I was a slacker or couldn't pull my weight
and that has led me to over doing things.
At 5' 8" and 125 back in my USAF days I was always amazing people with my ability to keep up with the big guys and now I think I'm paying for it.
