I had some slow loading trouble too.
Also wrote a post with a pic in it earlier and got an "Oops!" message saying that it was too big when it wasn't.
I rewrote the post exactly as it was before, reloaded the pic and tried again - then it posted just fine.

Posting that last I saw the three orange bars pulsing for about three seconds before it went through.

Rays pics from the V resto thread took awhile to load for me this morning.
And the yellow bars are happening with pictures & when posting a reply.
Other than that, everything looks like bizness as usual.
Kudos to Grant for all the tireless effort put forth to keep our happy place, happy.

Well....normal-ish...reactions were just lagging for me a bit....and it took a bit of time to get into a post edit...but pages are loading crisply.

The only new features that are still running are requiring a new member's first post to be in Introductions as well as sending the admins an email when that first post is made

I have been noticing, going into threads are slow and taking a bit of time to load up especially where there are pictures or videos. anyone else seeing this problem.

Yes I have, and at one point, posting as yesterday one post took about 10 tries, then it double posted.

Recently we have been getting request to join TTR from outside of the US and some of them are on spammer lists. I have a feeling that some of these may be the reason that the site is running slow and I need to check some stuff out and lay down the ban hammer!
