To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

I've got every album recorded by Robin Trower loaded up in WinAmp and I'm rockin the blues away while pushing buttons at work George Jetson style.

And another favourite. Was actually listening to this last night, but I thought I'd share it with you.
For those of you unfamiliar with Tame Impala, they are from Perth, Western Australia (My home town!) and play predominantly 60s and 70s style psychedelic rock.
Their last album, Currents, is more of an "electronica" theme, but with some kick arse guitar work by Kevin Parker and his awesome selection of "Old School" guitars.
He often plays a Rickenbacker 335 JetGlo as his usual "go-to" guitar, but here he also plays a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster given to him by J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr.

I'd rather listen to Parliamentary Question Time than The Shaggs! They are SERIOUSLY untalented...

Oops...your nose is growing long Alex! You know they are super-talented beyond belief that it is very subtle in their own way and timing. Even Frank Zappa himself thought the Shaggs were one of the greatest bands of all time and that's coming from a very talented man himself.

Yea, like that Vivian Campbell.....only, with the lead and some shredding riffs!
And a little less Hyundai SUV perhaps!
I love Holy Diver and it's fun to hear it in an advert on television, but it also ruins it for me a bit :(

I'm currently listening to a Spotify playlist I put together of songs my cover band is playing at some upcoming gigs:
You're no good - Linda Ronstadt
Rock in' in the USA - john Mellencamp
Fox on the Run - Sweet
Spirit in the Sky - Norman Greenbaum
Bad Case of Loving You - Robert Palmer
Brass in Pocket - the Pretenders
And many others. It's on high rotation in the vague hope that I will start to remember some damn lyrics!!!

I've got to give these guys more listening time. I start but then get distracted. Lots of folks I know love them but I'm not quite there yet.
