Always was puzzled on the stuff i read about gear being bashed or reviewed by people that don't own it or threads that go on for pages with no clips. Clips settle it vs arguing..."weight-vintage gear-V30's-DSL-Bedroom level..-Fender-Gibson...decided to go after it..thinkig of getting a camera.

#1.."You can't play a Marshall Plexi at bedroom levels" Ok then...lets see
Do understand it..we all have had kids or spouses , neighbors that make playing at stadium level difficult. But if you want to..you can record without bothering Them. Point proven this morning. I disapperaed about 34' from my wife this morning. She came back and said what are you doing? well recording...she laughed..cause she thought i was doing something bad..cause it was QUIET

Facts:
1987 now 2204 with PPIMV
Peavey 2x12 V30/gt75 china
11 Gibson SG faded 490/490
MXL 993 & dt-2 into Gap 73 mkiii & VTB1 preamps
Reaper capture at -18
Soundcloud-def did add some compression.i added nothing. All settings show in Pics
Disclaimer" awful playing but actual spur of moment to try & capture regular noodling. No trying to adjust stuff...Chan levels were equal...there is so many ways to go for tone. It can get real gainy or super thick.It is a lil cloudy on bottom end. Wanted basic even tone. Could talk right over it & hearing the strings was bothersome.

By using a volume pedal in the FX loop, I can run my tube amp at 2/3 volume and control the output volume to a sane level...
