Here's an oddball, studio-owned guitar. No markings, but has a solid aluminum neck with a split/forked headstock. Serial number on neck plated reads "Ser. #50365 - Property of Capitol Records."
I can remember seeing them , but cannot place a name or price on them, mainly because I didn’t care for the look.
SG John maybe on to something though.

Yep, it's a Kramer. They were pretty cool. I had a headless The Duke back in the 80s. Very fast, flat neck with resin fingerboard. Mine came with DiMarzio Super II pickups, decent sound - the bright character of the aluminum neck helped even out that vowel tone that DiMarzios are known for. Extremely rigid guitar, no liveliness or bounce to it at all. But it had pretty good inherent sustain. A bit neck-heavy though I think with a normal-sized body the neck would've balanced fairly well.
I didn't like the aluminum neck much - it chilled your hand when it was cool, and expanded a lot as it warmed up. Could only use the guitar for the first couple songs in a set. Once the stage lights hit it, the thing began going sharp and after a couple of tunes it was unusable. The stage tech needed to retune it for our singer to use mid-set.
Also, the ball-end anchor / nut was attached buy a single machine screw - if you banged it on something, half the strings would go sharp and the other half would go flat. I think they changed to dual screws for a later version, but I bought mine when they first came out. Mine looked like this one:
