Not if you bought one in '59...
Could be , but if you had bought it in say 60-61 it would have just been a used guitar.
I don’t think it would make me play any better, and I also don’t think it would sound that much better than what you can buy now.
But maybe I am missing something ??

The Peavey Generations are VERY comfortable -- great necks -- has the belly cut and the contoured top is more PRS ish than Fender ish
here is one in the SWAMPS ---gotgeous FLAME on the neck --- peavey didnt relly "match" the bi laminate -- some I have had have a GORGEOUS flame--- on HALF the neck lol -- dang crazy rednecks--- just slapin stuff together --- but they damn sure got the feel/function/durability part right
