Recorded this last year and wasn't 100% happy with it. The bass and drums did not come out great to say the least, but I decided to leave as much of the song structure in place and just finish up and improve the guitar parts.

9 months ago, I posted up this version on Soundcloud. I really didn't like how the 'wah' parts came out, because I recorded them with the wah feature in Audacity, so one of the things I wanted to do was re-record the wah parts with my Dunlop Crybaby. Here's that first version:



Today, I got the Dunlop out and re-tracked the wah parts, and re-mixed a few sections of the song to give it a better feel.

Agreed. And while this song is creeping up the list of songs I never want to hear again (due to "classic rock" stations and every cover band on the planet overplaying them - Sweet Home Alabama being the current #1 with a bullet) this harder take on it is refreshing in a way.

Thank you, Man...i think we are going to eventually re-track the drums and bass and see if we can get a cleaner sound.

I was like that till I heard the Dave Mason version the other day.
Yes, I missed it all these years.
