Sooo...

I have a torn ligament and a shoulder impingement. Surgery will be required, but I think I am going to schedule after the Holidays.

I am waiting for my referral to be approved and then I have to consult with a surgeon etc. etc.

I may be out of work for up to a month and unfortunately I don't have that much sick leave. Anything over two weeks and I'm on
leave without pay.

Gear will be going up for sale very soon. Amps, Guitars and whatever else I scrounge up...

Stay Tuned!

Glad you are not a drummer or drywall finisher. Sp8 Good luck, brother.

Wav is storing gear at my shop. My shop is getting new computers for all of US Customs in Long Beach and Los Angeles. I have a 4 bay garage and we have had so many deliveries I'm running out of space. So...Wav may soon need to retrieve his gear from storage here because my superiors want to store things where we have our guitar gear...
Are the superiors PAYING storage fees??????
Im guessing a 4 bay storage set up pr sq ft AINT CHEAP in the land of fruits and nutz ......theres your 2 weeks missing compensation PLUS SOME ;)

Had another appointment today to go over further tests...not good. Tendon tear, perforation, fraying of the posterior labrum...etc. etc. two pages full
of medical terms that mean nothing to me but impending downtime. Doc said I'll be down for a month after the repairs. I'm not going in for any
procedure until after the holidays.

Please keep us in the know Chris.

Chris, I know this is a case of closing the barn door after the horse... but, was there an incident that caused this or was it one of those progressively worsening through the years type of injury?

Praying for your minimal pain during holidays and throughout any of your procedures and follow up.

It seems to be a progressively worsening thing. I have always worked hard and pushed myself, sometimes beyond my limits.
My job requires heavy lifting sometimes and I climb big antenna towers up to 300'. I also do everything myself around the
house. I'll be 60 in February...I guess it's time to slow down and realize I'm not 20 anymore!

Chris, I have hit similar freaking reality check the past few years. Low back pain plus occasional sciatica, hip and leg pains and being a carpenter/siding, roofing, trim, paint, flooring, mason etc all have taken their toll and I am doing less and less. Sadly, when I have to get up on a roof now, I fear a hip will lock up, my leg might buckle and down I go.

Can't believe and had no idea you were a SKY walker. Climbing big tall towers WOW. 4 Years your Junior and trying to keep going without any surgery till I keel over dead.

Sure hope you can be 100% real soon.

300’ towers... I don’t even like climbing 30’ ladders to trim palm trees, and like Chili said, I feel it in the legs and knees, ankles.
My long commute home on a daily basis kicks my butt.
Heal up and join our merry march.
Take the utmost in care Chris.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
Mitch
