I must admit that I have not been following the news regarding Chevy engines and claims until I saw the news about the C8. I've been an Evo guy for the past 15 years.

The cobra body was an English AC not a Ford design at all. They just stuffed a 289 in it then later flared the wheel wells and stuffed a 429 under the hood.
Not a good handling car at all
The only Corvette i ever liked was the 1993. I liked the tilt front end and 6 speed manual...handling was more nuetral than the 2018 i drove at Fontana Speedway recently.

Shelby added a closed cockpit and suspension refinements and took it to LeMans also...
