So,
After hearing Jorn Lande's version of "Fool For Your Lovin," the vocalist and I agreed this would be a great song to add. My drummer friend laid down the drum tracks and I got up around 5:00am this morning and started building he song layer by layer. My goal was a very hard rock version of this song - in the vein of what Jorn was doing - but somehow, my usual, instinctive classic rock roots seem to take over and the song sounds more (to me) as an 80's garage band.
Here's Jorn's version:
And here's the Whitesnake version:
And here's my home studio version - less vocals:

The bass lines put a large blister on my thumb. We also realized we failed to include a break between the intro and the start of the vocal section, so the singer will have to be on his toes and try and fit the phrases in there....
Equipment Used:
Schecter C1 Hellraiser - All Low-Register Rhythm Parts (6 tracks)
Jackson San Dimas - All High Register Rhythm Parts (4 Tracks) and Main Solo
Ibanez Import Bass with .105's into fender Rumble 40 direct-out into DAW onto Audacity
Blackstar ID-Core 100 direct-out into DAW onto Audacity
Thoughts????
