Commuting out here sucks bad! When I picked up my wife from LAX Thursday it took up 3 hours and 10 minutes to drive 65 miles! Stop and go barely rolling along most of the way...

I need to retire soon and convince the wife to join me at the farm ala Green Acres!

My wife and i actually spend a lot of quality time together.

Yesterday was the first day in months that i did not pick up a guitar!!!!!

My 11 year old and i ran some errands, helped my wife setup her event booth, then i met with the perspective new band, then went and helped her break down her event and transport stuff home, then we all had dinner together.

When we went to Central America recently, i told Don O and Adrian that if i didn't return, for them to start working with my oldest Son to distribute my gear to the TTR homes they felt most accomodating.

I was glad to have returned safely....

So, i met the new band yesterday. The equipment is otherworldly to say the least. One entire rack is dedicated to power and EFI/RFI filtration. I saw gear from Dante, Avalon, and several others i couldn't recall. They have an experimental Roland electronic drum kit that has pre amps in each drum/cymbal and the sound rivals any wood drum kit that i have ever heard.



This is just their home studio rig...and this is only one rack. There's a silver-face Avalon up top that didn't fit in the shot.

They dumped Pro-Tools in favor of Cubase.
