VM if you are old school (ride the guitar knobs & like power tubes up as a tone factor) SLX if you like pre gain shape.

Both are fantastic. The VM has shades of every Marshall in it & has that creamy -sustaining mids cause of kt66,

If you can find the VM with matching cab-it came with the special run Celestion g12c-great cab & speakers... have it for my live rig cause record Fender & Marshall --the VM can pull off all of it
