This was one of those songs I just wanted to try no matter how it turned out - a heavy rock version of Sam Cooke's "Change Gonna Come." We based this on the Greta Van Fleet arrangement. I Am Performing All Guitars and Bass Plus Singing Lead And All Backing Vocal Tracks.

Quite a few mistakes that would need to be changed before this could go anywhere, but I kinda like it for it's rawness...

This song is really out of my vocal range, but I do enjoy pushing myself occasionally, and these experimental projects - although they will not likely make it onto the CD - are a good exercise. The practical application of mixing, mastering, and layering instruments and vocals are good experiences. I do a lot of backing vocals at my studio job, so tackling the 7 part choir section in this song was especially challenging!!!!!
