Luckily, Coca cola here is still sold in glass bottles and sweetened with sugar. Just like in Mexico.
Yep. Way up here in the agricultural areas of Washington state, we have loads of Mexicans. Which on one hand is great, because we also have things like Mexican coke (pepsi too, real sugar, glass bottles) and amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. Mexican coke in a glass bottle is the best. I buy them all the time at the gas station when I'm in there.

Coke or Pepsi. Matters not in a restaurant. But when I buy at the grocery store. Coke. That said. Been drinking more Sprite past years and not as much cola. All three or four cans a month I drink. Usually with pizza. Some people like beer or wine with pizza. I will drink that. But I prefer soda.

lol

drink water ya'll

For the love of God man, NO, don't do it.
It's intestinal suicide...
Didn't you see this?

I very rarely drink any soda. I stick to beer... But when I do drink soda it will be whatever's in the fridge. My oldest kid prefers Coca Cola Zero while the youngest one prefers Pepsi Max. I don't care, really. If I'm thirsty I always drink cold tap water.

I chose Coke because, between Coke and Pepsi, I prefer Coca Cola.

However, I rarely drink soft drinks, these days. I used to drink Dr. Pepper, too.

My preferred cold beverage these days is unsweetened iced tea with lemon. I also drink kombucha that I make here at the house.

Aside from the alcohol, beer is better for you than soft drinks. From time to time I toy around with the idea of getting NA beer. But, it can be kind of pricey.

Like with anything else in life, the key is moderation (apart from when it comes to guitars, one can never have too many of those). Beer can be a part of a balanced diet, if you keep the amount conservative and don't drink and drive. Sodas don't contain any of the nutrients beer does, so beer wins in that regard. And the fact of the matter is it doesn't make you fat either. Mind you, if you slam a six-pack every day while eating burgers and fries it will, but then the problem is you and not the beer itself. A standard pilsner contains the same amount of calories as an equal amount of skimmed milk or regular Coca Cola. I'm not a fan of advocating beer as being very healthy, but if you don't drink to excess it certainly won't hurt you.

One oft-overlooked benefit of fermented beverages is the probiotic benefit from the fermentation. This is the benefit behind kombucha.

Now, this doesn’t hold true for distilled beverages.
