I always wanted a DeArmond --- but --- well the REAL ones are -- stupid pricey
Seeing as I am a Carpet Baggin Damn Yankee from OHIO-- and DeArmond pups started in TOLEDO OHIO --- (look it up) --Home of the Mudhens and Klinger arguably one of the Original Ferengi--- and a snappy dresser ---
I found GFS has a DeArmond "clone"-----
and for a WHOPPING 35.00 (pricey for a ferengi pup)--- I through////or is it threw--- hhmm--- CAUTION to the wind and ordered one ---
SG pre surgery

and after a SHORT (easy ) swap (I loaded the SG w/ GFS quick connects to be my NEW test mule since Bobby got the Chibson)
and
WOWSERS!!!!
the SG was slightly "dark" before -- the Gibsons didnt really "do" it-- so went to the Alnico Classic II GFS (and the GFS quickie harness) -- now -- the bright is back--- the GRIT is back and the sustain is 2 fold better !!!!!!!!!!!!
