I grew up in a restoration shoppe. I don't do it anymore. I kinda got burned out on cars....
After 20 years as a professional auto mechanic, I know where you are coming from.

It is a 67' Originally just an RS...but I badged it as an RS/SS. Paint is original color. The car was stripped inside and out and my wife and I did everything, but the real in depth body work and the paint. I worked on the drive train and she did the interior...
We still have this one in the family....
I still do all my own stunts...but these days, just for fun...only way you can get 4.30's....
When I bought it you could see the ground through the trunk...
When I finished it you couldn't look away...
...and my Daily Driver for kicks...
Nice work...i did my last restoration in 2012. I got rid of all but one daily driver and I do only light mods/tuning on it.

That is Bad A$$! But 130 on that old piece of road is scary...
The section is closed to the public and I only hit 130 for a second or two....it was lots of fun...
I only got one ticket in my entire life - on Sunday, August 22, 1983 at 10:00am for driving 133mph in a 55 zone in my 1969 Dodge Charger...
