I'm doing ok, but its blowing big rigs over on their sides on the freeway.
Fire has the 210 closed at the 5. I'm not too close to the fire but there are ashes all over our cars. Wind blowing the flames like a blow torch. Currently 50 mph winds speeding up to 70 when the sun comes up.

We went to Alaska quite a few years back and they were having fires. The radio said if you from or going to so and so it's been totally burned down. I think the place was called Chicken Alaska, not positive. They also said they were trying to find a bunch of missing people who were doing the subsistence living thing. It was pretty bad. But man, those are some high winds your talking about go'n with the fire - not good, man - not good at all...

Last I heard on KNX they are expecting this heat and wind to continue at least through late tomorrow. It's sitting at 86-degrees at the beach right now, so it must be hotter than hell inland and worse in the valleys.
