Hi I'm a New Guy and Im a Guitaraholic....

now whats a chord again?

LOL!!!!

This reminds me of a music project I worked on once. We were in the studio and there were other projects going off in other sections of the studio. One of the producers we know asked me to come have a listen to this project. It called for a prolonged guitar solo over a pre-recorded soundtrack for a television commercial. (Although the project is protected by NDA's, I can tell you it was bankrolled by the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority) The producer wasn't happy with the way the project was going and they had already tried two guitarists without satisfaction. I was immediately nervous when they asked me to take a stab at improvising a solo for the commercial.

They played the track for me in the control room and offered me a lead sheet, but I just requested to be able to listen to it. They also let me hear the previous takes by the other guitarists.

I went out in the studio and set up my guitar and amp and settled into my chair. I looked up at the window and asked the producer what - exactly - was it that he wanted on this track. The two producers looked at each other and had a silent conversation for a few moments. Then, one of them opened the mike and said, "Rob, imagine that Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joan Jett had a kid. Play it like that..."

I got it right on the 3rd take. I still don't know what key the song was in.

As I look at this image, I can see each artist that is connected to their unique instrument...

I am also reminded of a girl with little red shoes, who likes to party and likes to booze...she lost her cherry, but that's no sin, since she kept the box that the cherry came in....Who can dig this???

He knew that this poem is in G-N-R's liner notes????

So play it like Chaz Bono?
Joan Jett would never Kiss SRV let alone have a kid with him. She doesn’t do dick or solos. Don’t get me wrong I love him and I Love her power grooves. But I would have drawn a blank and Played T-Rex.
