You need a backing board I would not use fish paper due to safety reasons.
I only use G10/FR4

I have a backing board in there also I was just concerned about the board moving laterally with temperature change.
I have a glass board I can use as a back board also.
this shows the back board a little better not much.

Yes indeed it is. I have changed the red wire to a different style that is a lot more flexible also.
The new wire has a 600V rated silcone sleeve on it and is much easier to work with.
