Unloved Peavey Patriot

Peavey U.S.A.--SOLID DEPENDABLE :poo:---that can be had for pennies on the dollar compared to Fender --Gibson--etc. and they are every bit as good

that is a late 80's USA MADE Patriot--was "scored" for a trade "valued" at right around 200.00 --- but Chinese made and no where near the quality of the Peavey --try finding a serviceable Gibson or Fender form the 80's for 200.00

I encourage you to locate and try a USA Peavey guitar-- you will wonder WTF you been missing ----aside from the $ you spent on compairable Gibsons and Fenders (and yes S5 even Godins)---(though usually cheaper than G and F)

Cant wait till tomorrow!!!! :)

This man speaks the truth. Find a few before the secret of USA made guitars for under $300 gets out.
I now have three of the US made Peavey guitars and look for more daily.
They have a whole list of different models with differing features and most at sub affordable prices.
Get yours now before Adrian & I hog em' all.

Peace

Haven't had much serious play time with it, but yes.
And cleans up nice with the volume without killing the output.
Hard to explain, but the first quarter or so of the sweep just seems to lower gain without affecting overall volume much.
Then as you turn the knob it gets quieter. Tone pot has a very nice sweep as well.

Nice job one again @Hackmaster !
I will BOLO Peavey USA guitar deals from now on!!

The volume thing I find to be the norm in the case where I mostly prefer to run my tube amps (db permitting).
At 10 on guitar vol: into break up and the first bit of roll back cleans up to mostly cleanish / can squeeze more OD out with heavier attack.

Those Dirty Digits pickups - are they the ones from ebay and Reverb seller Guitarmadness?

There are also some that had parts from over seas but were ASSEMBLED in the US ----

mostly though-- it says on the headstock and the USA ones have seriel numbers stamped in the back of thee headstock
this is a stolen photo this T-40 is MUCH cleaner than mine lol

ALSO if'n any of ya are LOOKING at one online-- or even at a local Pawn and Theft -- snap a pic send to me or Hack -- Thebastard also knows a USA PEavey when he sees one
and we will tell you its not--- ask where it is and BUY IT OUT FROM UNDER YA!!!! BUWAHAHAHAHAHA -- no really happy to help ---

some of the late 90's stuff gets confusing -- and some models are so OBSCURE its hard to find much on the interwebs about them----- LIKE THE MANTIS

here is a USA made (not all parts made in the USA hence the "handcrafted" moniker) --under 3 bills

BUt I suggest you hurry as prices are all ready getting in to BASE MODEL PRS and Gibbo territory on the real rare ones---

Yeah, you’re generally safe buying 70s, and 80s Peavey stuff...they didn’t start shifting to offshore stuff until...I think, mid 90s...and it’s BXP that signals an overseas build for sure.
For example; the Cirrus bass line had both made in USA, and the NOT made in USA “BXP” models.
The USA models can draw big $$ when it comes to the Cirrus bass line.

Wow that's a lot of money for a guitar that really doesn't have a nice top

I have very little money in this one with a NICE TOP
