...anyone have experience doing this? Looking at vocals through a Reverb and a Mic'ed instrument through a Delay type scenario.

Set-Up and Signal Path suggestions and any special equipment needed other than an Impedance matching device between the Mic and Pedals?

I lean towards using an aux send/return for that sort of stuff. If I want the “wet” track solo’d, so be it...but I keep the dry to mix to taste of necessary. The aux send/return can be hardware or software...depends on the gear at hand for me.
If it’s hardware, mic to mixer preamp-to aux out-to fx box-to mixer return....print both....mix to taste.
