Opti-visors are great - I use them along with the magnifying glass lamp and a handful of regular ole type of magnifying glasses. I should get a pair of nice opt-visors rather than blowing thru the cheapy's - lol...

Do any of them have adjustable centers to the lenses? They look fixed, and for someone with a small eyeball to eyeball center line.

I just use the standard ol' magnifier on the soldering aid. I do have a 10x magnifier that I use for inspecting things when needed though. Cheers

They're fixed. If you wear glasses for reading, the Optivisors will easily fit over them and you shouldn't have any problems.

Thinking I will add this to my new tweed sweetie.
The O.T. has taps for 4, 8, and 16 so why not be prepared for what ever may present its self.
I will re locate the speaker jack next to it also for easier access.

That's a large switch. This is what I have used 151 builds no issues up to 150 watt amps.

Three Position Rotary Switch

Don't let a weak switch deteriorate your sound. This heavy duty (6A @ 120V) phenolic resin switch with break-before-make phosphor bronze and silver plated contacts is the perfect path for the sound of your amp on its way to the speakers. Mounts in a 7/16" chassis hole.

Actually not that big, the foot print is a bit big but not very deep. It's an actual Marshall part I picked up in a parts box buy.

Though your craftsmanship may be better as my eyes are getting worse and my glasses wont stay in place.

Back when I raced motorcycles, we were hanging out in the pits drinking beer after the races were done. These smaller type chassis builds always do look a bit of a mess mid build, & always look a lot neater toward completion. Great work, looking forward to seeing more of the build. Cheers

OK so progress has been slow lately Since this is not a prefab kit, I have no instructions.
I have not been comfortable with how the board floats inside the chassis with no anchor well that is now resolver.
In the picture below you will see a nylon nut at the end of the eyelet board, I have used nylon standoffs to secure the board in place.
I have never owned a tweed amp or worked on one so I have no idea how it was done back in the day.
With some luck I will be done by the weekend.
