Ok, we have 2 procedures scheduled for today.

First is to replace the G&L blend with a push pull volume and restore the stock tone controls.

Second is to pull the Tele tone control out and replace with a TBX control.20190831_064347.jpg

this is a trick I learned a long time ago to help protect the finish of expensive guitars while working on them on the bench.
nice soft towels or other fabrics tend to catch little pices of solder and cut wire that will scratch a finish.

Are those rubber door stops that you have under the guitar?

So cool. I never considered a TBX control.

The guitar does not stay in contact long enough for interaction to occur. I am aware of that problem.
This is a trick I have been doing for a LONG time, BUT thank you for your concern and heads up. That is appreciated.

Once again I must say this is the GREAT thing about TTR. We all have each others back all the time.
the other boards there seems to be little clicks that would pick and snip and what not.
Here it's just one huge family, and I for one do appreciate that. We don't all have to agree on everything, but we do respect everybody.
