1968 Marshall Super Bass 100 Watt Plexi (Full Volume)

Sounds cool, and that looks like fun. I'm probably the only one around here that thinks that sound is really dated though. I mean, that's the sound heard on a million songs over the last 50 years and is kinda...tired. But a lotta damn fun to dime the thing I am sure.

dont ferget ya speaker in the equation, this weekend got all My M's out again...& 4x12's...observation..think around 30 watts is kick drum level in band...also where we record at...they sound awesome..but...in the interest of making all kinds of dif music..i went right back to the Fenders..none is better than the others..but i can get the Supers right up that alley & then clean dream if needed...wont part with the M's but can def shape a F any which way needed..& in the end..way less ear fatigue & easier manageability...its all about the song & the singer these days...whatever fits the song gets the job. Kinda sucks in a way..spent last 4 years honing in ^ have some very custom M circuits...that will prob watch from the sidelines.wish someone would of turned me on to a Super instead of a bassman circuit first..would of saved a whole lota time

But that is one of the ways we learn, and if you fail to pay attention you won’t learn and if you don’t make any mistakes you won’t learn, and I have made many, and I am still learning, so that means I am paying attention, making mistakes, and I now have patience!
Cheers Mitch

it was fun....as things move around ....really calming the volume down. Been playing stacks for 2 years strait...to get in the zone..its just a hair higher than i been lately. The tilt combos really did a lot to influence practice level & spread sound in the area needed. Learning the circuits was a blast..now looking for Vox & Supro,,getting into overdriving for leads lately in smaller set up ..dif tones than the norm for some new tunes

I finally got a new piece up in show me your song ideas!
Last night I came up with a short 2 piece riff that I played for an hour not to lose the melody, then turned on the amp below 1 and recorded the riff so I wouldn’t forget it, now it’s time to put some more to it and create a song of it!
Cheers Mitch
