How hard did you dig for that? Most every video I see of him playing Cliffs of Dover it's on a Strat!

Not hard, really....the Gods of 24.75" Scale speak to me and reveal much. Occasionally, I must appease them by burning a single coil on this tiny altar...

I must say, I was surprised that when I met Don O yesterday, out of all the guitars I took, it was the 1987 Squirecaster with Gibson Humbuckers that he couldn't put down.
They (Strats) just feel very foreign to me.

i always gravitate back to the SG's..my LP's dont see the action as much..cept for the LPJ which reminds me of a SG. I wonder if its what we start on ? in 2015..got SG & dot as my first guitars & learned how to use em without all the gadgets have now..spent more time learning em..who knows..saying that, probably end up with new LP today..lol....

i get that..wish you could try my Nighthawk,,its the strat for Gibson players but acts like a gibby..fretboard & can still get it in humbuck mode

ME too ........not like I dont have multiple OPTIONS-- but the SG's are what I "grab" on a regular basses -- especially for a "quick noodle"

SG's were my go to till my 335, now the EPI is edging out the Gibby.
the Gibby is going in for surgery later this weekend.
I am pulling out the circuit board for starts, it has 4 conductor pickups so I am going to change the
volume pots with ones with push/pull switchs so I can split the coils like on the 335.
All ready spent the morning moding my G&L again and my Tele.

Chas..same..epi 335 has blown me away.. like it up on my body...strum it way more than a solid...but never mistake it for mellow..they can do it all in the rock realm. Looking for 1 more..prob 90's korean to put these hand wound pups in

might see if your studio is accepting "babysitting" for a bit as we shuffle back in forth in the Move..we have to come down a few times & thinking those heads are going to be separate from the main move...might be knocking on ya door..with a jtm45--jtm50-jmp50 one dayGuess one step @ a time for Swampboy...
