This was 1981..so the bullying wasn't an option.that was dealt with...well i went home & took a long run & stopped in front of a store ..big window..i & said...do you got it...Bruce Lee & Arnold Schwarzenegger have been training me since i was 13. Sat afternoon Martial arts movies & was lifting ever since Arnold was winning all the Mr Olympias...

Looked in that mirror & fought my self....was fast 5'2 128 lbs...all i did was run & workout for 5 years...I said yes...got weirdly calm..next morning went over to where the jocks where & went up to big bad bully...said 3 pm...At the elementary school lot...he went..what? i said "challenge you" some chic goes..what ya think your Underdog". I had his Sticker on my notebook & my family always called me that

I just grinned..all day long..geeks-nerds..all coming up to me....he pushes me too .'get him'..word was all over school..all the jocks..even pushing me in the hallway. all day provoking me..saying your dead..he will kill you...well 3 pm..i wheeled my cuz up to the playground in his wheelchair...

my gosh ..i bet 300 people there...walk up...said 'why you do this' to small people or someone with a handicap..he goes cause i can.....rage burned in me..i visualized..all the training..the wood chopping..the fast striking movements I...saw thru the hit...i hit him so hard... broke his jaw & curved his nose..to this day his face is crooked.....He became a big real estate owner(dad owned branch--he was privileged kid) i called him up in 2003 one day & asked him if he stopped picking on people,,he said//yes...told me he lost his girlfriend that day..he saw the ugliness in himself....we talked a lil..he said ..I hit him harder than any football play...not real proud of it..but being little or a lil dif in life does not give people the right to hurt us !!Underdog was born.

Sometimes you cant reason with people. Good work i say.

I was around 6'-2" and 165 pounds in high school. I had motor issues and i was clumsy. I spent a lot of time in physical therapy. Got picked on a lot because I was very gentle and didn't approve of fighting. Got fed up with the bullying one day in 1981 and just beat this one mean bully to a pulp. When he went down, i kept throwing punches into his back and the back of his head until a teacher pulled me off. I think that the frustration of 10 years of being picked on just boiled out that day.

My Mom came down and the school didn't get the reaction they were expecting. She brought a whole handful of Polaroids of my injuries marked with the dates and times she called the school and reported the same kid and the school did nothing.

The kid's Dad was in the office ranting and raving, but he got quiet when he looked at the pics and I still had bruises from a beat down I took a week previously and my Mom made sure everyone saw them.

All charges against me were dropped and one teacher and one counselor resigned in the ensuing investigation when it was revealed many other kids were being bullied and the school did nothing.
