debug hum er rations

Ive tried to find "issues with tone"-- that is a HUGE negative and other online foirums all but set fire to the pedal as being a P.O.S. that DESTROYS tone--

I find the Behringer Compressor I have ALTERS my tone way more than the hummie--

but -- as I have established I have (99% of the time) a VERY simple "tone" chain-- guitar-- cord-- AMP-- done now, Ive added a BOX and I cant really say I hear any big negatives to my "tone" -- -(I still sound like utter crap) -- and ACTUALLY if anything I SOUND WORSE because-- well --Im not distracted by the HUM and can HEAR how truly horrid my playing is!!!!!!!!

Maybe thats why those douchenozzles hated it???
People that are truly happy with a product will not flock to the internet to complain. They will be busy enjoying life.

I bought a used one--- no power supply-- (cheaper) but --- I didnt read the fine print---my logic was I have 3 E.H. power supplies in a drawer --- why buy another--

DIDNT realize it is a very specific 7.5 V not a typical 9v --

So the search for the correct odd ball P.S. took a bit of doing and in the end I WOULD have been better off (time/money/aggravation) just buying the new one

At least you didn't fry it!

You should send it out here for safety testing immediately. We have a gig coming up in Big Bear, so that's 7,000 feet ASL, and a great opportunity to test your Bah-Humbug at high altitude conditions....

I never heard of that RealDoll thing.
Now it is in my browsing history at work!! LOL
$2-10k for a sex doll?

Will they custom make it?
I have this Lynda Carter Wonder Woman thing........
Can it kick my ass and tie me up?

Anyway, LOL!

No wonder that Jeffery Epstein was so popular.
a lot cheaper for the real thing on the Lolita Express.
I think someone else punched his ticket for him.

It's an inside joke down here....

We found a minimized page open to the site in one of the computers in the studio. I had never heard of it before. We all had a good laugh about it around the Kuerig and then began trying to guess who was looking at it. We suspect one of our esteemed producers, but nobody is looking too deeply. So, the joke now is that "real Doll" comes up in conversation all the time. Kinda like "Hey, Jim...did you ever buy that 1971 Gibson Les Paul???" "Nope, still paying off my Real-Doll...."

gawd aw-mikey... I can't believe I had to read through six pages of
repartee and flap-doodle, just to get to the two words I wanted to either
see, or NOT see: IT WORKS. I did read the initial thread on this pedal
with interest. So I believed already that it works, but wanted to see what
all our colleagues here might say, so I read this one with compound
interest. Bankers are just carnies in suits, IMHO.

I can't believe that one of us ordered a pedal, and the then generated six
pages of techno-babble before the thing arrived. It must have been shipped
by Amish Mail Service... clop clop clop...

If you went to yer local GC, wouldn't they have it in stock, and sell you the
correct power supply, so you could take it home and plug it in the same day?
If you ordered it from Sweetwater, wouldn't it arrive promptly, free shipping, no sales tax and everything included?

I can't believe that a doggone stomp box has to have a "cool and special" 7.5 V
power supply, as if we all weren't plagued by so many durn wall-warts anyway.
I can't believe anyone would sell this product without including its
"cool and special" power supply. But maybe the power supply contributes to
the humbug...

I actually think this pedal sounds like a good idea, and I do get some hum
issues with my Warmoth J-Bass, because the p'ups are wired to be one
big humbucker when both volume controls are dimed. But the hum increases
when I drop ONE of the volume knobs, as I like to do. IMHO dropping one
of the volume knobs reduces the hum bucking effect of the wiring.
I shielded the Warmoth when building it, but apparently I didn't shield it
as thoroughly as described in this long long thread.

I'd love to plug my bass into this pedal and get the silent treatment.
The pedal seems cheaper than a Von Herndon copper job, or a
real-doll job when you're bored with life.
But I might wait for the hum-debugger fugger version Two Point Six, where they
decided a nine volt pedal would sell better.

Now what I really want to know is:
how does one clean out his real doll the next morning...
Shower-massage? Garden hose? Car wash?
...does a clean-out mess with her hair styling?
or does one just leave one's DNA in there to fester?
The world wonders. What a world we live in...
