I too --- use computers -- ALL DAY-- for work-- and of course ferengi finds -- I cant spend ALL my time in back alleys-- pawn shops and seedy opium dens scouting for gear-- :)

It's an inside joke. There really was a "Down On The Farm" site that featured bestiality...mostly women and horses, and one of my son's ISP clients was complaining that someone was visiting that site and he requested my son investigate.

Turns out, it was the business owner - who requested the investigation - was the culprit...

I like the SG shape, and everything else about this instrument,
so when I saw an SG shaped mouse pad for sale at the Rock an Roll
Hall of Fame, I had to have it. The SG certainly deserves the
credit, being one of the best guitars ever designed or built,
and one of the most successful.

So I got me an SG shaped mouse pad, because it was there, man.
Tomorrow, it might not be there. OR there might not be any tomorrow.
So I got it now, and I use it to play on this site. Na na na na nah!
 
I use an IP vanish and/or Express VPN and no one knows anything … Right now my visible location is Reykjavik, Iceland with an external IP 157.157.87.183 and that's not where I am at now, that's for sure. Protocol IKEv2. Any time something suspect tries to sneak in uninvited the screen pop up tells me unsafe and run for the hills, virtually of course.

Well Col M it also has a lot to do with encryption and tunneling but basically you become Anonymous past your computer. When I use a VPN I can't even get on my own bank account, have to sign into wherever I go …. bank acct is a no go unless I turn it off! Also no throttling down of my bandwidth when I'm downloading or streaming, which , for me, is always music, of course. :H5: Today I think I'm in a South Africa frame of mind.
 
VPN's will not protect you against a browser hijack unless the VPN provider has black listed the IP address the hijack is coming from. They also slow down your Internet speed. They are not as secure as many people expect. Most of them keep logs that they would have to give up to authorities in whatever country they are located in. There are also rumours that some of the popular VPN's are run by governments.

Robert, I thought u grew up on a farm? I always dreamed of a farm life as a kid, myself. Having lived in a row house and apartment all my life as a kid, I longed for space and critters and fields and woods and rivers and lakes. Never beastiality though
