New Guitar Build - Walnut Tele with P90s

Some interesting developments. About 5 hours after the last coat, I laid the body down on a textured surface, resting primarily on a 3" x .5" section of the body, and by morning it had taken some of the texture. It likely would have buffed out, but I wanted a fresh start, and frankly, I wanted a thicker coat to minimize the likelihood of burn through later.

The store was out of Watco lacquer, so I got Minwax clear aerosol laquer.

It is also a good product. The spray stream is good, and while a bit weaker than the than the Watco, you can adjust the flat spray stream between horizontal and vertical. It dries quick and lays well, although seems a bit more likely to run than the Watco. I finished the can and there was no spitting at the end.

I am pleased with the final coat
