Just a little something for my former Maryland brothers to appreciate.

OH DONO, GBALL...

That Traxonwax is right across the street from what used to be a family run hobby shop (smoothie place on google earth now). I used to walk there in the 60's, it was a mile from my parents house. Lots of cool things under a $1 for us kids back then. I think I got a quarter a week as allowance from the parents.

Dang Bro DonO, I was a wee lad of 0-6 in the 60's. I began walking to hobby stores in my neighborhood too once I was big enough around 1972.

It is now a mom and pop bike repair and sales shop that opened in Spring of 2018.

Speaking of quarters, I used to do all manner of odd jobs and even collected bottles to turn in for coins to go to places like this to bowl and play pinball.

SP8 WOW @ 3000 45's. I have a client who likely has 3-5k albums. BUT man that many 45s is something.

I felt like I had spent far too much at having probably 50 LP albums. Of course I was not raised with much, so I could never spend very much and expect to also afford college.

I was 10 in 1966. That’s when my parents moved from Catonsville (where the hobby store was), about 10 miles to Westview Park. It was a larger home since mom just had kid #7.

I have 2 of these. Some one posted their axe that had one under the selector switch. I started to ream one for use like that.

I wasn't raised with much either and college was not even a consideration. My mom worked hard just to get me through High School! The military is what made me!
