playing the LPJ loud in studio yesterday.. got instant Black Sabbath ..def Sabotage album & some early stuff...into a Super Reverb even..just a raw rock sound , Then we full chorded with vol on about 6ish it was clean but still had a slight sting..my gosh is it a usable pickup..about 8 is this full sound but breaking into a snarl..like ready to let loose..then dime it..its on...

I was shooting for two of each...looking for the right fourth still...but then I threw a humbucker sized P90 in the neck position of my humbucker SG(after doing so in my V)...I like it like that.
