Yeah, even the neck... Plugged in, supposedly it still sounded like a Strat.
Sometimes cited as conclusive proof that wood doesn't matter, by those who refuse to believe that wood has any effect on guitar tone.
Myself, I know better - I've played plenty of seemingly identical guitars which sounded and felt different from each other.
