I have to say that the generosity of our forum is fairly incredible. Last year, @RobV sent me a kick-ass, vintage A-B-Y box that I use often when running amps in series.

Rather unexpectedly, I got a package today...

I was blown away by this act of generosity. I am likewise intimidated by pedals because I am not very skilled with them.

I'm gonna take time tonight to read up on this and find out how best to use it.

Thanks, Rob!!!!

Since all my pedals run all the time, there are no concerns about reaching them while in motion.

My hope is to use the new "Satchurator" as a relatively clean boost, just for solos. For this reason, I shifted it down to the lower edge.

My pedal order remains unchanged and many combinations were tested before building this signal chain.

Volume pedal, delay and chorus are in the FX loop. All other effects hit the front of the amp.

Robert, Have you ever tried using the Sidechain trigger method with your NS-2 ?
I ask because it has proven to be the best Gate design i’ve Found ( IMHO of course)

Yes. I tried several cable strategies with the NS-2, including the 4 cable method. The problem was, when using this arrangement, it either totally negated by delay and chorus, or greatly diminished their effect.

So, I ended up trying the pedals in different orders until I got a good sound from all effects. Then stayed there....

Tangent alert...

I once bumped into Satriani. I was at a guitar show and bumped into some guy. I didn't initially look over, I just said sorry. My friend whispered to look. I was surprised. None of his talent was transferred to me.

Robert- Where did you find those power cable organizer things?

Nice, glad it made it across country that quick! It was a little redundant having 2 RATS & A Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe and an Elektron Analog Drive landing in the morning with a Dirge EQD Acapulco Gold clone. Anyway I thought you might like to mess with a higher gain pedal and maybe give you more inspiration & enjoyment with all you have been thru this year :)
