Finally caught the RAT...tricky lil fella. Will take a filter over a Tone knob any day. Use amps for 98.7 % of tone..clean & OD & usually only bump for more of..dont use distortion much..like clarity & articulation even for the heavies..the filter allows a Fender to fill in the mid exactly where you want it..Super Reverb is sounding sic..i mean. peek back & wonder if it really is a Fender..but the cool thing is..the fender Mojo cleans prob make me switching to F amps..pair of Supers set up opposite to one another has it all going on..its hard cause of the Marshalls..but i go where the tone is for the job..next year ..could be a Vox..but the Rat as simplistic as it is..is very versatile...just off clean you can OD in any range you want then go dirtier than dirt..great boost pedal also cause of filter...2 on a board prob is a good thing..Rat took #1 spot..prob took place of 4 pedalsRAT.jpg

Nice to see you finally got it
 
Hey..learned something really helpful...the RAT up front in chain..set it neutral,,(i use amp tone for OD mostly) the filter knob can be an EQ sweep..so from SG to Strat to tele..ect...a lil movement can put the amp immediately in the usable range by adjusting that mid curve. without having to re set amps main tone..finally put my pedals up on the dresser at eye level & spent some time learning them.
