Think my line up is done before the move. Took a month & went hunting. The reissue got cheap today is just fine...but its off to the tech next week, bassman it on normal for some punch & tighten up trem side. Going all PTP, my tech makes em very custom..wanted to stay Super Blackface on trem & sorta nasty on Normal.
There is nothing wrong with the RI at all. It does exactly what it is supposed to. the Jensens are good, it delivers the classic blackface tone. My 74 is set up for the nasties & this is for clean. It has one of the best low level cleans i ever heard for noodling. Going to band room to torture it now & see what she got.

yes ,Pro is scooped like a twin but can get heavy tight if need be but no cutting mids

74 have set up to be on the verge of exploding SRV style clean/dirty at same time -

RI is set typical 60's fender big clean but not so harsh OD

i need em both. My tonal world doubled recently..throw a Vox & the mesa in the mix & some Peavey.. Soon as i shifted a lil lately..the songwriting really opened up...i can hang with the M fans..jtm45-jtm50-jmp50-vm2266-dsl100h...got it covered
