The pickups were experimental designs made for me by a private winder in SoCal. 17/16k with allen pole pieces like a DiMarzio. We made 6 of these - 3 went in my Ibanez DT555 Destroyer, 2 are in this and one was given to a music student. I think we used Alnico VIII magents on these. Wax potted too.

The harness uses CTS pots, 2 tone and one master volume with K40Y PIO tone capacitors - .033uf/.015uf - cloth wiring and a full aluminum RFI shield.

Should make one helluva Super Strat...

Cheap fat strat. I keep changing the configuration. The first one I added Fender locking tuners.

I did something similar years ago when I put a set of EMGs in this haggard chunk of Chinese....instrument. It was never as sexy at the ones posted up upthread though. Ultimately I deemed the EMGs too good for that guitar lol

I did play the out of it for years though

I had an HSS pickguard with a Dimarzio SD at one point. It was too good for the guitar plus I hated the tone on this guitar. I've been thinking of going SSS with Tex Mex p/u.

Esge really dug the Boston Blues set from GFS.

There's nothing like a good ole Stratoblaster. this one comes with Godin singles and Seymour Duncan Jr. rails in the Bridge. H.D.R switch, great tones, an all around very good player.

When they see the garage door open in the afternoon and I am home, they know what is about to take place, after having my grandsons band practice here yesterday, my little bouts of higher decibels is a welcome relief, lol
