Germanium OCD coming out

I was just reading a thread on how much of a douche this guy (Mike Fuller) is. I haven't had any experience with him but all the stuff said makes me not want to by anything he has, just wow at how this guy talks down to his customers and cusses them out when they want to buy a switch to fix a pedal instead of a new pedal....I was amazed by the shear volume of these stories. Anyway I have had 2 Full-Drives and an OCD and felt the OCD is way to dark for my tastes and the Full-Drives didn't do anything for me either. A lot of people like them though!

Holy Feces! This is the first time I've heard of any negativity towards Mike Fuller. I'm a big fan of Fulltone products, and have some of their stuff. I guess I've been under a rock with any current Fulltone drama. I'll have to send out my crack(ed) detectives out for an immediate investigation... :popcorn:
 
I was kind of shocked myself honestly. Thruthfully if I was a business owner I wouldn't ever treat my customers the way he has thru e-mails & phone calls.

Well he sent out an e-mail today I guess, while taking a dig at Analog Mike and the KOT wait list.
"Although I promised all the July 4th pre-release OCD-Ge's would start shipping within 1-5 weeks...​
I lied.​
They have all been shipped as of yesterday, 13 days from sell date. Boy does that beat TGP-darling 2 year wait-lists!"​

Yeah, that's too bad about Mike Fuller's antics. He's got quite a nasty personality according to many forum posters who say they have directly been in contact with him and have personally been insulted by him. Mr. Fuller's nasty type of behavior, if true, is definitely a sign of mental instability IMO. On the other hand, I really like Fulltone products and hopefully I will never have to deal with any of his personal insults. I wish him the best.

Fulltone products I have owned in the past:
OCD "V3" & OCD "V4": Both excellent overdrive pedals that succumbed to my downsizing.
FULL-DRIVE 2: Got this one super cheap thru Guitar Center because it was damaged. I fixed it, and sold it for a small profit.

SUPA-TREM 1
SOUL-BENDER

I say take it with a grain of salt. I like his products myself. I've read posts people being turned off by his response to them. I've had the non pleasure of dealing with a few "winners" within the music gear biz.

I had a OCD V1.7 I think and a couple variations of the Full Drive. FD2 was the best of them to me. The OCD sounded like it put a blanket over my amp? Might give it another go one day as they are loved by everyone.

You might have a bad one. My 1.7 has nice touch response and a cool thick ( yet not muddy ) tone. I would contact the company and see what they tell you.

I moved it along already, I am pretty set, unless my new Kanji 9 doesn't make the cut. My Marshall board> CP-9>OD-9dx>89' Turbo RAT>Kanji 9. My little TSA board has my Solo RAT on it with a Dirge EQD Acapulco Gold clone on it. I am finding I don't need MIAB's anymore :p

I don't have any extra pedals anymore! I built 2 extra little boards for my Daughter's step-son and a bud who is learning to play also but is tight on dough because he was saving to buy his 1st house. Oh and I sent RH my Satchurator :)
