JOYO BanTamP Zombie

Anyone played this little beast yet?

I'm a Marshall guy, mostly.

Several months ago I got the Zombie to mess around with at home. I was quite pleasantly surprised with it. Only complaint being that while it can get loud, it's not quite loud enough for jamming/rehearsal with the group of guys that I play with. So for the past several weeks I've been using a Triple Rectumfryer at jam nights.

It's good, but I think I like the Mark series better. I'm GASsing for the Mark V:25 at the moment....

So I'm kinda thinking like this:

I may try slaving the JOYO to any of my Marshalls, maybe even the Triple Rectumfryer, and see how she sounds....and if that still doesn't scratch the itch, I may have to just order the V:25.

Anyhoo, before this post turns into a blog containing my wildly scatterbrained and random thoughts, I'll close with this:

I am thoroughly impressed with the Zombie. Do yourself a favor and check one out sometime.

But I'm still gassing for the Mark V.

If funds were not an issue, I wouldn't consider anything BUT the full size Mark V. All my other amps are 100w so I'm not real big on lunchboxes.

That being said, the JOYO, at 20w, gets pretty friggin loud...I'm sure the V:25 would get plenty loud for jams/rehearsals/gigs

Probably worth mentioning that I don't have anything smaller than 4x12s...

well I have 2 mesas --- and a Marshall--- and a Clone Tweed 5 Watt boutique 1 off amp head by Owegitone.....AND a Peavey----so --

I am surrounded -- by -- no -- ORANGE -----

-- but that begs the question--- WHY--- if I am spending 149.00 on a new micro head ---- why get a JOYO "Orange" 20 watter when Ic an get a ......
ORANGE Micro 20 watter............

The damn Mark V is just too much money. Right now with the Zombie, I'm running a TS9 up front with the drive all the way DOWN and the level all the way UP, got a GE-7 in the loop, running through a 1960A 4x12, and it's VERY Mark series-like, done this way. Guess I'll just hold off for a while. Besides, I don't REALLY need yet another amp very much....it's just GAS lol

Nothing wrong with that, but I already HAVE the Zombie lol

As stated, I'm not short on amps at all lol but they're all big boys, no lunchbox or micro amps here, other than the Zombie.

I have yet to try slaving it to any of the Marshalls, or the Mesa, but I have options there...and my hopes are high

It's like, I can either find a setup to make this thing work like I want it to, or go another $1600 deep...
