Lord Stanley’s Cup 2019

You know what?

An empty net goal would really be cool right about now.

Don’t ya think?

I think the little kid in the front row there could suggest a place for you to "put it" ------ lol

GO BALLS---- ...wait no BLUES -- really --- St. Louis? --- wow------

52 years------ cant wait for their next "win" ------- maybe with life support I'll make it------ :)

Tampa is @ 6/1 odds to take it next year according to some pole I just watched and the blues @14/1..

Oops. I forgot one.

I don't have any other place to put this.

I suppose this is as good a place as any!

The thing in his hands is the thread title after all. So, an appropriate place this is. Just because the team that I supported didn’t win, doesn’t mean that I have any ill feelings towards the victors....they did earn it.
It is a game after all....one that I do enjoy watching....immensely. The Blues showed the skill, and tenacity, necessary to take that trophy. The Bruins did not....but it did come down to the last possible game to decide who would take home the cup. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be watching the Bruins playing hockey in to June.

Seems like they wanted it just a bit more and it showed in the end....
I think that the Blues of 2019 were very much like the Bruins of 2011...a hungry group of skilled heavy hitters that worked well together as a team. The Blues did to the Bruins exactly what they did to the Sharks...they won the war of attrition, and outlasted their competitors. That’s what it took this year.

I remember the last Bruins Cup win in 2011. I actually rooted for them at the time. They seemed the most passionate team and I admired their drive.

I'm not a hater, I just really wanted the Blues to bring it home this time around.

Have you looked at their "Laila Anderson" backstory? It really is inspirational.
