I am sure a number of you guys that have been a member here for a bit .
Have noticed a couple of new guys here,
I have been doing a bit of recon, and have asked a few of my friends to join here.
And with out trying to fire up operations here you might of come across a post or 2 that has the wording.
Mitch Pearrow is our Ambassador.
This comes from a thread on the MAF that Jethro started in my contributions on that forum and not to disrespect the status it implies here onTTR.
I f this is not the correct location please free to move it.
Cheers Mitch

I’m not familiar with that one.

Thanks for the backstory, Mitch. But, it’s all good.

Since you brought it up, I’ll explain how the ambassador designation works here.

It was the brainchild of one of the founders of the forum. Honestly, it is an informal thing intended to develop a sense of camaraderie, but the way it works is that once a member in good standing reaches 1000 posts, that member is nominated for an ambassadorship and a title is suggested. The title is derived from some defining characteristic or generalization of the member that emerges from that member’s posts. If the member agrees and there are three “Ayes” to the nomination, that member becomes an ambassador.
