Nice Vette.
So that's what you look like!
What's the graphic on your shirt?
Do you ever get a chance to cut loose on that Vette?
Am I nosy?

As a resident Vette expert Lou... are you familiar with the Macho Shark Vette, from around the 60's?
Yes I am Terry !
Cool story behind that Mako Shark.
The head designer of GM, Bill Mitchell was an avid sport fisherman. When the design was dubbed "Mako Shark" he wanted the car painted to exactly resemble the stuffed and mounted Mako Shark he had hanging in his office. The painters in the Design Studio tried several times but just couldn't get the shading right on the car to match the stuffed shark. Story has it that one night, after the car was already painted, one of the painters removed the stuffed shark from Mitchell's office and painted it to match the car !
True Story ! LOL

That is cool! I don't the exact year, but I think it was mid 60s? I'm not sure it ever went out to the masses as I remember, but GM did make a few that traveled around to special events for show. I was fortunate to have gotten a ride in one as a young scout at a scouting function. It was a TOTALLY unbelievable ride!

May have been the earlier 60's... This one (if I remember right) is close to the Maco I was in.....

That rear window is something I'll never forget.......!
