My idea of a build uses a prefab body and a prefab neck. You have shamed me. I am in awe.

No shame in kit building or "partscasting." I just originally got started with scratch building right from the beginning, so I never saw the needed for the other. For me it started out as a financial thing: wood was relatively cheap and my father had a complete woodworking shop. So I bought a book and started building a guitar. It was kind of a no-brainer.

I too am a Partscaster...I have no woodworking equipment and no room to put it if I bought some. Your skills are impressive! Keep the posts coming!

More Fretboard day! The Fretboard got slotted and years on the sides. It just needs a little cleaning up on one side and around the overhang. Here it is being slotted:
