Okay...

...I couldn't resist...

Few things are as timeless and ubiquitous to the world of the electric guitar as a sunburst Stratocaster.

Got the 'burst? Post the pics!

Here's mine. It's a 2006 Diamond Anniversary USA Fender Stratocaster. It is absolutely stock. Only the strings have ever been changed. It's wired a little differently than many Strats. When the bridge pickup is selected, the bottom tone control affects the bridge pickup. Many Strats are wired so the bridge pickup has no tone control. But, the tone control for the bridge has a little detent in the pot at the 10 position. So, when the tone is at 10, the tone control is switched completely out of the circuit.

It has Fender's Vintage Reissue pickups and is a joy to play. It's one of those I'd run back into a burning house to rescue.

C'mon, guys and gals. Do you have a 'burst Strat...sunburst...sienna burst...whatever?

from FEDEX to USPS then I guess USPS will deliver it?????? Probably MONDAY ---curses!!!

Great looking strat smitty

Must be reading my mind. I was on Sweetwater last night looking at the burst strats, trying to figure out how I could get one. Conclusion, I would need to sell 1-2 guitars....im just not that easy with sacrifices. Any other option would result in my wife, well....killing me. Just have to keep dreaming.

Yea, that's common. UPS does it too. Fedx/ups are more efficient at moving parcels on long lanes. Usps delivers to every house. The label they used, most likely will have both tracking number on it. That's how they are saving on freight.

Do Squiers count?

Smitty, love that Strat of yours!
Saw this thread and said to self hmm, "I don't have a burst Strat" then I remembered I have 7 plus 1 and the 1 is a burst.
I don't say 8 as the burst was given to me by my son to sell. It was his work horse, he's had it over 20 years.
One day he'll want his history back and it (along with a MIJ LP) will be here for the taking.

1995 MIM all original (even the extra switch is factory).
