Motion sensor - UN-wiring help

Mates,

This motion sensor that the building put in the middle of my office is making my life difficult. Can I bypass this switch from the wires shown? I do not want to trace wires in the ceiling.

Thanks for any help

Would putting the entirety of these 2 connections together, leaving the white wire connection as-is, do the trick?

It's just a motion sensitive light, not part of an alarm system? No problem then, just disconnect and tape one of the power lines.

sorry to be obtuse, but can you be more specific. I removed the red sensor wire from the black wire, only to lose lights. Can you specify which one I should tape off?

Ah, OK. Just wire the black power lead to the black lamp lead. You are going to have to get inside the housing to do it though. Take another pic when you do, because your wiring looks nothing like that diagram

With regard to the housing, do you mean tracing the wires behind the junction box?

Pull the red lead, safe it off.
Wire nut the 2 blacks together, eliminating the switch in the sensor.
Turn off power first.

I tried to remove the red wire and then touch the black wires together, but no lights. I did not remove the sensor black wire from the equation though
