There is a lot of sub forums on this fine forum. I must have missed that section you mentioned. I think I'll work on making another video and post it in that section. I don't know if I can play as good as before. Old age is creeping up on me and my dexterity is sometimes off. Thanks for your compliment and I really appreciate it. I've played a long time and when I see some youngster on YouTube playing better than me, I cringe. I just have to accept my style of playing and try to invent new licks. Playing guitar is also therapy for me. Sometimes I go into a trance or THE ZONE when I get really warmed up. The guitar is your friend...it's part of you when you hold it. That's how I see it. I don't know exactly how old you are but I bet you can still play some mean chops. Playing music should be fun and an enlightening experience. It's a ZEN moment.

This isn't shredding. It's really just a short, 50 second rhythm riff that I just came up with using my SG Special, "The Kraken."
I don't really think it's sloppy, but I could tweak it.

You get a good sound out of your guitar with that riff. I liked your version of Paranoid by Black Sabbath and left you a comment. I hope you approve. I really like the sound of the mini-humbuckers. I think they are the most under-rated pickups in my opinion. Remember Pete Townshend's Les Pauls had the mini-humbuckers with the DiMarzio in the middle. Thanks for posting your talent Smitty.
